What's everyone's view on the Bradley Pritchard thing?
The guy who did it is a sick fucker and deserves the shit he is getting but is it prison worthy?
The only good thing that will come out of it for him is the lifetime ban from Sheffield Wednesday games, what they should have done is make him attend every game....a far better punishment.

Where it all started going wrong was when we decided to take away discipline children. Whether that be at school, or at home. There are no consequences for your actions. If you miss behave a school, you get sent to a room on your own, or sent home. In my day (40 years ago) you would have your mother saying "Wait til your dad got home"!!! And you knew what was coming!! You also learnt that you didn't like it, so didn't do it again!! Now what do the kids know?? Do as you please as theirs fuck all you can do about it!! Imagine mouthing off to an adult years ago?? you would have got a punch to the head, and learnt not to do it again, now bugger all. We are fucked. The Liberals made this monster.

I don't think you're going back far enough blaming 30-40 years olds. The fact is humanity has always been pretty fucked up, yes places and times have their peaks and troughs but in general we can be a very nasty species. Modern societies have just learned to mitigate it slightly.

The kids had no say in this shit. It’s easy for adults to have perspective because we grew up in a different world. But the kids are fucked as this is all they know. And we “gave” them this program. We invented Tik tok, instagram etc. we voted for govts that have removed so much shit that would help.
I feel like we’ve said “we can handle xyz” and forgot that the children can’t. And it’s fucked them permanently. There are some absolutely insane monsters out there now and I don’t think there is any rehabilitation to get them back to normal sadly. Feels like a write off.

I'd agree that bad parenting is the core cause of all this - and not just the more "obvious" reason - absent fathers.
Far too many people - including professional, educated and, dare I say it, very white people, are expecting to live their lives, continue their previous career paths and social activities after becoming parents as they were before; it's as if they regard their own children as some sort of fashion accessory or badge of honour, rather than kids who will grow up and become adults themselves (rather quickly).
OK - I agree that it's difficult to even get by these days with a single breadwinner, but it's been difficult since at least the 1970s, so that should be a surprise to absolutely no one.
People need to realise and accept that being a parent is not simply "one of life's events", to be fitted into a busy social, academic and professional calender - it's preparing their offspring to be better citizens than they ever were. That needs, at least, maximum two-on-one interaction: two parents, one sprog.

I remember two weeks ago a thief tried to steal a wig and was restrained and kicked out. There was a mass protest. Thank god a beautiful young girl on the way to school was not stabbed otherwise there would be more mass protests and probably riots, demanding the mayor of London to invest money into the police instead of woke ideologies. Perhaps media like BBC and Sky constantly talking about racism, colonialism, slavery etc. has instilled in the youth a culture of blaming everybody for their own failure in life. Absent parents and lack of discipline, and the likes of Dawn Butler looking for every opportunity to undermine the police, gives these kids a mindset that they are always victims.

Too many errant father's and kids with no positive role models in there lives.
Peer pressure, music glamourising violence and a particular way of life.
Total inaction by old bill partly due to political correctness partly due to being totally inadequate at detecting and preventing crime particularly county lines and knife crime.
Social media slurs also play a part in a lot of attacks and fuel postcode wars
Having said all that there has always been bad shit happenlng all though nothing like it is today.
I was stabbed in the stomach with a screwdriver by a mate (now dead ) i had fallen out with when I was 13.
A couple of years later a school friend got fatally stabbed by a disabled kid he had been bullying.
Flick & Stanley knives were the weapon of choice in my day but very rarely used now it's zombie knives and machetes.
